Talisman is one of those books that grabs you from the beginning. From the start to finish you are thrown into the life on Roman as a new member of the Talismen. The characters all have distinct personalities that complement each other and add to the enticing plot. You want to find out more about this organisation that Roman is now part of and what secrets lie within it.I definitely recommend this book to anyone interested in the YA fantasy genre and I look forward to reading the next books in the series.

Superb effort by a promising young author. I just wish she hadn't ... well, finishing that sentence would spoil the story, so I won't.
Humorous and engaging! Despite the young characters this book is sure to entertain readers of all ages. The action is well paced and characters very relatable. Looking forward to the next book in this series.
I found his book fun and fast moving, filled with plot twists and very imaginative details. A real page turner for me. I gave a copy to friends with young children, who read and reread it and keep asking for the next story in the series (here's just got to be one!)
